Stalker 2: Heart Of Chornobyl is back with a bang in a new gameplay trailer

STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is still set for release next year, and developer GSC Game World has released its first trailer in six months, showing off the gameplay with some narrative footage along the edges.

with respects IGN:, a new video shows STALKER 2 looking pretty good. The story-driven shooter takes place in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, a post-apocalyptic world overrun with dangerous mutated monsters. Players must fight their way to the heart of the zone while navigating a non-linear storyline through choice-based gameplay.

Officially set for 2020, after years of launch and cancellation announcements, STALKER 2 has been in rapid development. After announcing and quickly canceling NFT plans in December 2021 due to fan backlash, the project came to an abrupt halt in February due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, where GSC is based. Many employees had to evacuate their homes in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. Other designers chose to protect the city. One of the GSC designers who volunteered to fight, Vladimir “Fresh” Yezhov, was recently killed in action.

STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is scheduled to arrive on Xbox Series X/S (including Game Pass) and PC in 2023. It was one of the many titles to be bitten by the delay bug and pushed into next year, a list you can. check here.
