Samsung Galaxy Book 3 specs leaked ahead of February 1 launch


Last month, we exclusively revealed that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Book 3 series alongside the Galaxy S23 series on February 1, 2023. A few days later, images of the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra surfaced. Important specifications of Samsung’s upcoming flagship laptop have now been revealed.

According to a new report from MySmartPrice, the Galaxy Book 3 series will consist of the Galaxy Book 3, Galaxy Book 3 360, Galaxy Book 3 Pro, Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 and Galaxy Book 3 Ultra. The report also claims that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Book 2 Go series at the same launch event. The Galaxy Book 3 and Galaxy Book 3 360 will reportedly have a 15-inch screen, while the Galaxy Book 3 Pro will come in 14-inch and 16-inch screen variants. The Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 and Galaxy Book 3 Ultra will only be available in 16-inch sizes.

Galaxy Book 3 360 has a 16-inch 2.8K Super AMOLED screen, 13th generation Intel processor.

The Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 is reported to feature a 16-inch Super AMOLED display with a 2.8K resolution (2,880 x 1,800 pixels). The report says that the laptop is equipped with an Intel Core i7 1360P processor that has four performance cores, eight efficiency cores and an Intel Iris Xe integrated GPU. The notebook has up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.

Samsung is said to equip the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 with four speakers tuned by its sub-brand AKG. It will support Dolby Atmos. The notebook, which will run Windows 11 Home Edition, is only 13.3 mm thin and weighs 1.6 kg. It is reportedly powered by a 76Wh battery that supports up to 65W USB Type-C charging. Samsung will bundle an S Pen with the notebook, but there will be no built-in pen slot.

The specifications of the Galaxy Book 3, Galaxy Book 3 360, Galaxy Book 3 Pro and Galaxy Book 3 Ultra have not been revealed. Based on previous leaks, the top-of-the-line Galaxy Book 3 Ultra is expected to have a MacBook Pro-like design (but with a lighter weight) and some amazing specs.
