Siri lets you do a lot with your voice. You can do basic things like make a phone call or get directions, but it can also get more complicated. you might want the showtimes of all the movies at your local theater. And none of this requires the use of your hands.
Apple is always adding new commands loveand somewhat recently released iOS 16:there is one particular addition that I am most excited about.

Whenever I notice a software issue with my iPhone, such as apps closing automatically, operating system lagging, or unresponsive features, I restart my device to hopefully fix these errors. And many times it does.

However, the only way to restart my iPhone is to turn the phone off and on or force restart. Both of these options require the use of my hands and multiple steps, but now it’s much easier thanks to iOS 16. Restart your iPhone using this simple voice command
As long as you have Hey Siri turned on, which constantly listens for a two-letter command, you can say the following to restart your iPhone:
- Say it first “Hey Siri” To activate Siri.
- Next, tell me “Restart iPhone.”
- And finally, tell me “yes” when Siri prompts you to confirm.
Your iPhone will then restart. You must enter your passcode to unlock the screen.

You can also use this new feature on iPad, but you must be running at least iPadOS 16.1.
If you don’t have Hey Siri turned on, you can Settings >: Love and search and connect Listen for “Hey Siri.” If you don’t want your iPhone to listen for this command all the time, you can always activate Siri by pressing the side button for a second, although that defeats the whole point of restarting your iPhone.
