Several users have now shared their experience with the iPhone 14 Pro showing green lines on various Apple forums and social media platforms. According to multiple reports, the iPhone 14 Pro screen turns black and shows horizontal lines when turned on with no way to bypass it. For now, there is no solution to fix these issues and you have to wait for a software update from Apple.

According to a MacRumors report, select users reported just one line on the screen, while others shared a photo of multiple green lines spread across the screen. Many of these users started reporting these issues after updating to iOS 16.2. Note that these lines automatically disappear after a few seconds. Still, it’s unfortunate to see such a glitch on Apple’s most premium iPhone.

It’s also interesting to see that the bug only affected iPhones with Dynamic Island, which further reinforces the fact that it might just be a software issue. Also, this is not a common issue and only selected users have reported it.

Some users who have encountered this error have contacted Apple and the company has confirmed that it is due to a software glitch and there is no hardware issue with their iPhone. Apple is currently testing iOS 16.3 and the brand is likely to release the same in January 2023.

Until then, the company may roll out an additional software update to fix the green line issue on iPhone 14 Pro series smartphones. While the green bar issue may be limited to the latest Pro models, Apple is expected to push an update to all iPhones running iOS 16.
