Analog watch stopwatch face on iPhone

You don’t have to stick to the default timer view to post. Here’s how to switch between digital and analog view when using iPhone to time something.

The Clock app has been around on iOS since the mobile operating system launched back in 2007 and is one of those apps that is timeless. Starting with iOS 10, the stopwatch in the Clock app also has an analog face

It’s easy enough to change a modern digital face to a beautiful, sophisticated analog one. Analog is not only easier to read when looking at it, but also has additional functionality.

The MacOS Ventura update brings the clock app to the Mac, and it also has an analog stopwatch face. To use it, select View Analog Stopwatch from the View menu at the top of your screen or by clicking directly on the digital stopwatch display.

Interestingly, in the macOS version, when you use the analog face and press the lock button, the screen changes back to the digital screen and your laps are displayed below the counter.

If you regularly use the Stopwatch feature in the Clock app and want to make a change, try the analog face. If it’s not quite to your liking, you can always go back to the easy-to-understand digital version whenever you want.
