The promo for SVU Season 24 Episode 12 has certainly created quite a buzz, especially among Bensler shippers; Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler’s ‘ship’ title and what happens between them.
In the most possible way, the teaser of the upcoming episode has suggested what appears to be a hug or a kiss between the two and frankly, these debates are reminiscent of ‘blue or gold?’ frenzy over that infamous viral dress.
Except that for Bensler shippers, any option works; even if the episode only included a hug between Elliot and Olivia, it would be a huge development for the long slow burn.

But some believe Bensler shippers won’t have to wait until the end of the season to see the two finally hit it off, as the ad was “just too steamy” to just hug. However, Bensler stans have been waiting too long. Some SVU fans have been shipping Olivia and Elliot for over a decade.
Episode 12, titled Blood Out, will air on NBC on January 26.
