RTE star Sarah McInerney’s fans have said she has ‘won the internet’ after her perfect response to a troll.

The Drivetime presenter was discussing Andrew Tait’s influence on young men in Ireland on her radio show this week.

Sarah, 41, was joined by Danielle McKenna, Program Manager at Dublin’s Rialto Youth Project, to talk about the topic.

RTE Radio 1 shared a video of the discussion on their Twitter account and captioned it saying:

“@SarahAMcInerney is joined by Danielle McKenna, Project Manager at the Rialto Youth Project in Dublin to discuss Andrew Tait’s impact on young men in Ireland. @drivetimerte.”

One of the radio station’s followers responded to the tweet saying: “You two shouldn’t be on the radio, you should be at home cooking and cleaning for your husband and kids, Tate is a legend, a woman’s place is there. kitchen”.

Sarah quoted this tweet and said: “It’s you, husband.”

The presenter’s followers flooded her answers with love.

Dr Elaine tweeted: “A very well-behaved man is that husband.”

Bob wrote: “Just ignore it Sarah, keep doing the great work you’re doing.”

Evan said: “You win the internet this week @SarahAMcInerney!”

While another follower also commented saying:

This comes after Sarah was recently left red-faced when her car broke down, but her rescuer revealed a simple solution.

The broadcaster’s car battery had died and he spent hours waiting for help to arrive.

But upon arrival, the expert found that Sarah could fix the problem herself.

He wrote on Twitter:

“Waiting for help for two hours, cold, miserable, thirsty.

“A very nice AA man arrived, grinned and pointed out that there was a button in my car to jump start it.”

He also shared a photo of this button.
