The entire Galaxy S23 lineup has been leaked so far. And with the design no longer looking like a mystery, the leaks are now shifting focus to other aspects, such as the official accessories that Samsung plans to pair with the Galaxy S23 series post-launch.
Several press releases showing protective cases for the Galaxy S23 Ultra have surfaced (via) @evleaks:) The images reveal this year’s silicone cases and the design of the upcoming S-View Flip Cover. The latter has credit card slots and a small window for the Always On Display feature.
Galaxy S23 / S23+ accessories may be leaked next time
Most of the case colors are in line with the Galaxy S23 series as seen in the previously leaked images and thus come in black, green, pink and cream. However, there is also a dark blue silicone case for the Galaxy S23 Ultra, and it’s possible that these accessories will be available in additional colors that we haven’t seen yet.
Similarly, Samsung may be planning to release other cases in the Galaxy S23 series. These may be leaked before the official unveiling of the flagship in Unpacked, so stay tuned.
In terms of design, these cases reaffirm what we’ve come to expect from the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The phone improves upon the existing Galaxy S22 Ultra design and features squarer corners than the rest of the lineup and individual cutouts for each rear camera.
Speaking of cameras, Samsung’s leaked teasers emphasize low-light photography and stellar photography. The Galaxy S23 Ultra could be Samsung’s first smartphone to feature a high-resolution 200MP primary camera. This hardware upgrade will be reserved for the Ultra model, but the entire lineup should see some camera upgrades in one form or another.
Samsung has confirmed that it will unveil the Galaxy S23 series at Unpacked on February 1st. The flagships are almost here, and prospective buyers can already reserve them online and get $50 in Samsung credit.
