Melanie Griffith went for a ride and showed more than she expected.
The Working Girl star was photographed in her car on Friday afternoon and was seen with a large scar on her left cheek.
A closer look reveals that a small portion of the cut, which appears to have been sutured, remains open and healing.
The cause of Griffith’s scar is unknown.
A representative for Griffith did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
During her outing, the Now & Then actress, 65, looked gorgeous in a pair of black-rimmed glasses, a black wrap dress, diamond studs and glossy red lipstick.
In 2018, Griffith shared a photo of himself with a bandaged nose after undergoing a procedure to remove skin cancer from his face.
“Bandaged again after dermabrasion, the last step in removing Basil’s skin cancer,” Griffith wrote in the caption. “If any of you have it, fix it. If you’re lying in the sun, you’re exposed to the sun a lot, be careful.”
He added: “Use sunscreen. Check with your dermatologist. If you don’t have one, get one or go to your nearest clinic and ask to be tested for it.”
Earlier that year, Griffith spoke to InStyle magazine about battling skin cancer, describing it as “a scary thing when you’re an actress and you’re hanging on your face for work.
“But I realize I have to put a band-aid on it, and that’s fine. I just look like hell,” he added.
