Jeremy Renner was airlifted out of a Nevada town after his snowplow ran over his leg in a freak accident.
New footage obtained by TMZ shows the helicopter flying off a cleared road surrounded by tons of snow and being airlifted to the hospital with the Marvel star inside and clinging on for dear life.
One of Renner’s neighbors said the plow machine, dubbed a ‘Snow Cat’, accidentally ran over one of the Avengers star’s legs, causing him to lose a huge amount of blood.
Another neighbor, who is a doctor, managed to put a tourniquet on Renner’s leg until paramedics got him to the hospital.
A representative for the Oscar-nominated actor said in a statement late Sunday that Renner, 51, was in “critical but stable condition” after the crash.
“His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care,” the rep added.
The “Hurt Locker” star, who lives about 25 miles from Reno near Rose-Ski Tahoe, previously posted videos and photos of himself using his plow to help his family out of winter storms when they be finished.
“I have so much respect for Mother Earth and Mother Nature… I expect to lose the battle but I will always give it my best shot #tahoelife life #snowball,” he captioned the video of himself blazing the trail through his big car. .
