The core of the crisis. FFVII Reunion had the highest retail sales for a non-major chain, Final Fantasy: spin-off game in Japan. It sold 156,530 copies when it was released on December 13, 2022. The Crisis Core FFVII remake’s retail sales in Japan are the highest for a Final Fantasy since 2014’s Final Fantasy Explorers on 3DS.

These numbers are for Japan only. Since this table does not include digital sales, it is not completely accurate. Although the title for the PSP version Crisis core reflects processing version, they are technically different games. Retail for original Crisis core As of September 2007, over 470,000 copies had been sold. That’s a difference of about 313,470.
Nevertheless, this is a huge success for Square Enix. This is one of the biggest launches a Final Fantasy: game on FFVII. Remake: and: Final Fantasy XV. Prior to the game’s release, interviews confirmed that the game would stay true to the gameplay and story of the original. Crisis core.
