BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – A document 5 members of head coach Kelsey Kyle’s West Liberty College acrobatics & tumbling crew earned All-Mountain East Convention honors on Thursday because the MEC coaches launched the 2023 All-Convention honor roll.
Hilltopper senior Abbey Swinderman was joined by the sophomore duo of Kayla Gandy and Gillian Hartz on the first-team All-MEC unit with sophomore Abbey Horvath and graduate scholar Paige McGlothlin incomes second-team laurels. The 5 All-MEC picks are a program excessive.Horvath, McGlothlin and Swinderman are repeat honorees.
Horvath, a Brooke Excessive alum, was the 2022 MEC Freshman of the 12 months whereas Swinderman was a two-time All-MEC choice at Glenville State earlier than transferring to WLU over the summer season. This marks the second consecutive All-MEC honor for McGlothlin, a St. Clairsville grad.
