PHILADELPHIA — The New York Rangers extended their winning streak to six games on Saturday with a 6-3 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers at the Wells Fargo Center.

Artemi Panari, Barclay Goodrow and: K’Andre Miller each had a goal and an assist, and Mika Zibanejad had two assists for New York (17-10-5). Yaroslav Halak made 29 saves.

“I think when everybody goes, we just have that feeling here and it’s fun to come to the rink,” Miller said. “You get that energy and you just have that feeling coming to the rink and going into the game with a good attitude.”

James van Riemsdyk, Scott Laughton and: Morgan Frost scored for Philadelphia (10-15-7), which has lost five of six (1-3-2). Carter Hart made 29 saves.

“I thought we battled hard, but we gave them a little too much time and space,” Laughton said. “They can pick you apart very easily and it goes differently. Regroup and get back at it, but compete at a pretty good level from our group and there’s no chance of going out late.”

Van Riemsdyk gave the Flyers a 1-0 lead at 7:11 of the first period, but Panarin tied it 1-1 at 16:58 when he one-timed a pass from Goodrow.

Miller gave the Rangers a 2-1 lead at 9:09 of the second period, beating Hart on a layup after recovering from a putback. Travis Sanheim blue line.

“It all happened so fast that I blacked out a bit and the next thing I knew I was [celebrating]“I felt like I was moving as fast as ever. It was kind of a blur.”

Miller has six points (two goals, four assists) in his last six games after notching nine assists in the first 26 games of the season.

“When he skates and gets up and hustles and creates, that’s when he’s really good,” the Rangers defenseman. Jacob Truba said: “He obviously has all the tools: the size (6-foot-5, 215 pounds), the strength, the reach. I think his reach is underrated. He makes a lot of games with his stick. When he slips and gets up. off the ice, he’s fun to watch and fun to play with.”

Goodrow made it 3-1 with 12:14 left. He made a move on Laughton, took a pass from Zibanejad and took a five-hole shot on Hart from the edge of the crease.

Laughton brought the Flyers within 3-2 with a shorthanded goal at 17:56. He took a pass from Panarin near the Philadelphia blue line, skated over Halak and slid the backhand five hole.

Vesey made it 4-2 at 6:22 of the third period with a glove shot from the right circle. It was his third goal in the last two games.

Frost made it 4-3 at 7:53 with a shot from the top of the left circle that beat Halak’s glove.

The Flyers were then rewarded with a power play Vincent Trochek A slack was called at 16:40, but with Hart pulling the extra skater, Trouba scored his first goal of the season into the empty net to make it 5-3 at 17:52.

“Obviously, it’s a game of inches and leaps,” Hart said. “They get some that go their way, we get some that don’t. At the end of the day, I want to make another save. For the most part, I thought we had a good game.”

NOTES: The Rangers’ winning streak is their longest since they won seven straight between November 21 and December. 7, 2021. … New York was 4-for-4 on the penalty kill and 10-for-10 in its last four games. … Flyers defender Tony DeAngelo was minus-5 in 24:26 of ice time after sitting out the previous four games, including the last two due to the death of his grandmother.
