The Tennessee Titans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars showdown for a playoff spot and the AFC South title officially has a time and date.
The Titans (7-9) visit the Jaguars (8-8) with a postseason berth at stake at 7:15 pm CT Saturday on ESPN and ABC, according to an NFL announcement. The NFL doesn’t announce the game times for Week 18 until days before the games, allowing the games with the biggest playoff implications to get the biggest platforms.
If the Titans win, they will earn the No. 4 seed in the AFC playoffs and make their third straight playoff game in Nashville. A loss would end the Titans’ season and the Jaguars would clinch their first AFC South title since 2017 and just their second since the division was formed in 2002.

The Titans have lost six straight road games, including a 36-22 loss to the Jaguars on Dec. 11 in Nashville. The Jaguars have won four straight and five of their last six after winning their previous two games. seasons combined. With a win, the Titans franchise will win three straight division titles for the first time since the Houston Oilers claimed AFL East titles in their first three years of existence in 1960-62.
This isn’t the first time the Titans have entered the final week of the season with major playoff implications. The Titans entered Week 18 last season needing a win for the No. 1 seed in the AFC. In 2020, the Titans needed a win to clinch the AFC South. In 2018, the Titans played a similar winner-takes-all game to end the season against the Indianapolis Colts with a playoff berth in jeopardy.
