The Chiefs have been burned several times this season by questionable foul calls against the defense.

Notably, there was the time Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones sacked Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, stripped the ball and recovered it. But the play was wiped out by a roughing the penalty kick as Jones landed on Carr.

On Sunday, Chiefs fans and others wondered whether a flag should have been thrown for the hit on quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

The game took place in the second quarter. From the shotgun, Mahomes fumbled and was able to pick it up. Unfortunately for Mahomes, Texans defensive lineman Maliek Collins was quickly on the scene.

Collins caught Mahomes and then hit him to the ground.

Mahomes looked for a flag, but there was none. Fans also wondered why it wasn’t a penalty, although some said Mahomes became a runner when he threw the snap.

This is the picture of what was said.
