My picks were generally just okay last week, and they were really bad when it came to my expert picks. I went a measly 4-9, but I went 9-4 straight up and 3-2 with my best bets as part of the Pick Six podcast.

That brings my season records to 46-33-4 with my best bets I’ll make, 126-81-1 with my straight picks and a horrible 96-104-8 with my ATS picks.

Picking a whole slate for the ATS selection has failed me this year. I just can’t get into the groove. I had a good week 13 and then week 14 went to hell. That changes this week.

The winners are coming.

Saturday, 1 p.m. ET (NFL Network)

Recommended game |: Minnesota Vikings vs. Indianapolis Colts

The Colts are coming off a bye while the Vikings are coming off a road loss. The Colts offense has struggled a lot this season, but so has Minnesota’s defense. But I give Minnesota’s front the edge over the Colts’ offensive line. Look for the Vikings to bounce back here as the defense plays better.

Choose: Vikings 28, Colts 14

Saturday, 4:30 p.m. ET (NFL Network)

Recommended game |: Cleveland Browns vs. Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens won’t have Lamar Jackson, but will they have Tyler Huntley, who suffered a concussion last week? Or will it be rookie Anthony Brown? The Browns are done, so this is a pride game. Deshaun Watson hasn’t been very good, which is a concern. The Ravens have back-to-back road games, which is tough. They’ll win it behind their defense, but it’s close.

Choose. Ravens 23, Browns 22

Saturday, 8:15 p.m. ET (NFL Network)

Recommended game |: Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins have lost two straight and are now playing their third straight road game. It’s brutal. The Bills lost to Miami in the first meeting, although they dominated. Tua Tagovailoa has struggled over the past two weeks and the conditions are expected to be tough in this one. The Bills will win it because they play good defense and Josh Allen does his part.

Choose. Bills 27, Dolphins 17

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Recommended game |: New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons

Both of these teams have byes and both are alive in the playoff chase, but just barely. The Falcons are making a switch at quarterback, going to rookie Demon Reeder. It’s a tough place to make that debut because these two teams don’t like each other and it’s a tough place to play. The Saints will win this one behind their defense and spoil Reeder’s first start.

Choose. Saints 27, Hawks 16

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Recommended game |: Carolina Panthers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Panthers can make the playoffs with a win starting this start. Carolina relies on defense and an offensive running game to win games. The Steelers may be without Kenny Pickett in this one (concussion), but even if he plays, it won’t matter. Carolina’s running game will win this game.

Choose. Panthers 23, Steelers 16

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Recommended game |: Chicago Bears vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The Bears have a bye and the Eagles play their second straight road game. And what. It won’t matter in this one. The Eagles offense is rolling, and it will be against Chicago. Look for Jalen Hurts to continue his MVP streak with another big day as Justin Fields won’t be able to follow.

Choose. Eagles 33, Bears 17

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Recommended game |: Houston Texans vs Kansas City Chiefs

The Texans played well in a loss to the Cowboys last week, while the Chiefs were looking good in a tight win over the Broncos. The Chiefs also play back-to-back road games, but that won’t matter. They understand that it goes both ways here. Bloat because Patrick Mahomes is playing well.

Choose. Chiefs 33, Texas 17

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Recommended game |: Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Dallas Cowboys

The Jaguars are alive in the playoff race while Dallas tries to keep up with the Eagles in their division. Jacksonville is coming off an explosive offense that shows Tennessee behind Trevor Lawrence. But this is a much tougher challenge. The Cowboys offense will put up points here against a poor Jacksonville defense. Look for a lot of points, but Dallas is the better team.

Choose. Cowboys 34, Jaguars 28

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Recommended game |: New York Jets vs. Detroit Lions

This is a big game. Yes, it’s a big game. The Lions have won five of six to enter the playoff race. The Jets suffer their second straight loss with Mike White at quarterback. He played well, but this game will be about the Lions offense against the Jets defense. I think the Lions get the best.

Choose. Lions 25, Jets 20

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Recommended game |: Denver Broncos vs. Arizona Cardinals

Kyler Murray is done for the season with a torn ACL, meaning Colt McCoy starts for the Cardinals in this game between two disappointing teams. Russell Wilson suffered a concussion last week, so his status is up in the air. It could be Brett Rypien at quarterback. Rypien vs. McCoy. Oh boy! The Broncos have the better defense so that will win this game for them.

Choose. Broncos 20, Cardinals 13

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Recommended game |: Las Vegas Raiders vs. New England Patriots

The Patriots beat the Cardinals on Monday night with an impressive second half, while the Raiders are coming off a scary loss to the Rams last Thursday. The Patriots will be in Arizona for a week, which will help with travel issues. Mack Jones showed some life against the Cardinals and I think he will here as well. Patriots win it.

Choose. Patriots 30, Raiders 27

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Recommended game |: Los Angeles Chargers vs. Tennessee Titans

It’s a long road for a Titans team that has lost three in a row. The Chargers are coming off an impressive win over Miami. Last week Trevor Lawrence sculpted the Titans and this week it’s Justin Herbert. The Chargers win it behind a big passing day.

Choose. Chargers 31, Titans 20

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Recommended game |: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals have some big injuries coming into this one, but Tampa Bay has been lifeless on offense for much of the last month. The Bengals’ defense has made great strides in that time. That’s a problem for Tom Brady. Joe Burrow will get the best of him.

Choose: Bengals 27, Bucs 20

Sunday, 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC, FuboTV)

Recommended game |: Washington Commanders vs. New York Giants

The Chiefs get a break in the schedule here as they come off a bye while the Giants are coming off a bad loss to the Eagles. The two were tied two weeks ago in New York, but this time the Commanders will win it behind their run and defense. The giants are rolling.

Choose: Commanders 23, Giants 17

Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN, FuboTV)

Recommended game |: Green Bay Packers vs. Los Angeles Rams

Baker Mayfield was impressive in his Rams debut, but now he has to hit the road to play with the Packers. He should know the offense better, which will help. But this is a game for Aaron Rodgers to keep his team alive in the playoff chase. Packers take it.

Choose: Packers 28, Rams 17
