Fantasy Football Week 17: Kicker Rankings

If ever there was an NFL quarterback who seems to know we need one in our fantasy football playoff lineups this season, it’s the Dallas Cowboys running back. Brett Maher. Not only is Maher the No. 1 scorer in fantasy with 151 total points, but he’s been on a roll the past few weeks.

Let’s start with Week 14, when a lot of fantasy managers, or at least those who haven’t yet locked up the 1st and 2nd spots in their leagues, we’re either picking for a playoff position or just trying. we won a place. Maher had 11 points against the Houston Texans that week, a week in which the Cowboys were actually pushed to the brink by their in-state rivals at the bottom of the NFL rankings.

Then, in Week 15, a fantasy playoff quarterfinal in most leagues, Maher scored 12 points in a loss to the Cowboys. Maher beat his predictions in both of those two weeks.

But he may have saved his best for a fantastic semi-final. Maher scored a whopping 18 fantasy points in Week 16 against the NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles. He connected on all four of his field goals and kicked four extra points.

Week 16 marked Maher’s second-best fantasy output of the season (he scored 22 points in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings).
