Defensive ends DeMarcus Lawrence is an explosive and agile defender on the edge. Lawrence leans hard and explodes in pursuit of a quarterback. He has recorded at least five tackles in six games.

Defensive end Dorrance Armstrong is a long-armed pass rusher who rushes the quarterback with a variety of moves. Armstrong was second on the team in sacks (8.5) and tackles for loss (10). Cade Othon does a great job blocking and is very physical at the point of attack. Othon runs tight routes against linebackers and has soft hands.
