Then the fans started throwing snowballs on the “Miami Dolphin” players. And then the officials faced a dilemma. On a play near the goal line, snowballs rained down on the play as Tyreek Hill attempted a pass in the end zone. One snowball hit the TV camera near the field.
Although everyone on social media is making jokes, it is clearly dangerous for anyone on the field or field level. There was a warning on the stadium’s video board, reminding fans not to throw snow.
After Bills running back Nyheim Hines scored a touchdown and more snowballs flew onto the field in celebration, the officials called the game off. Referee Bill Vinovich announced that the Bills could be penalized 15 yards if the fans continued to throw snowballs onto the field.
