The Warriors haven’t had the best road success to start the 2022-23 NBA season, going 3-14 away from the Chase Center, but they could find a new home away from home. Type:

Golden State played two preseason games in Japan on September 30 and October 2, both of which were won at the Saitama Super Arena. Two and a half months later, they found themselves on foreign courts again when they faced the Raptors on Sunday night at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.

Once again, the Warriors walked away with a win, this time a sweet, sweet 126-110 victory that saw Jordan Poole show off his movies via The 6’s historic Poole Party.

The show’s star joined NBC Sports Bay Area’s “Warriors Postgame Live” after the game and explained what prompted the hilarious dance.

“I’m glad you asked. Shout out to 414, shout out to Certified Trapper, shout out to everyone,” Poole said with a smile. “We lit it. We’re 2-0 in Japan and we won in Canada, so whatever overseas promotion we do, it’s working.

“Shout out to the city, shout out to the 414, you all know the vibes!”

Poole’s dance moves weren’t the only thing that impressed on Sunday. The 23-year-old dropped 43 points against Toronto, a team, game and season high for the young guard. He went 14-of-23 from the field, 5-of-11 from deep and made 10 of his 11 free throws.

The Warriors entered the game without Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins and were counting on someone to step up as they try to avoid their 15th road loss.

Golden State is on a six-game road trip that was winless before Sunday. They will travel to New York City on Tuesday to take on the winners of their last seven games with the Knicks, then cross the Brooklyn Bridge to face a familiar face in Kevin Durant and the Nets the next day.

After this road challenge, they need to talk to someone, maybe about playing a game in Mexico City or abroad. It could be the new home court advantage away from the Chase Center for the Warriors.
