Minnesota Timberwolves star guard Anthony Edwards was candid after Wednesday night’s game against Steph Curry and the Warriors.

“We were tired, man,” Edwards said after Golden State’s 119-114 overtime loss to Minnesota. [h/t Dane Moore]. “[The Warriors] just play fast. Steph don’t stop. He played the entire fourth and did not stop moving, did not stop running.

“If I play the whole fourth, when I get through it, I’ll probably stand in the corner and catch my breath.”

Curry played all but 18 seconds in the fourth quarter and overtime. He scored six points in the fourth, but missed potential game-winning jumpers late in regulation and fouled on all three of his field goal attempts in overtime.

Edwards finished with 27 points, none of which came in his fourth quarter. He still scored four of the Timberwolves’ nine overtime attempts to hand the Warriors their 19th road loss.

The Timberwolves guard, in his third NBA season, is a rising star on the court and a bubbly personality. He went viral earlier this week after admitting he eats about 21 bags of Chester’s Hot Fries a week.

Still, Edwards’ guilty pleasure snack didn’t stop the 21-year-old star from chasing Curry around the Target Center all night.
