After celebrating the 30thth Musco Sports Lighting has extended its contract as the official sports lighting system of Little League in 2022.® Baseball and Softball through 2027.

“Over the past three decades, we have been inspired by the commitment of our friends at Musco Lighting and are grateful for the continued support they provide to our local leagues around the world, as well as the generous donations of state-of-the-art lighting solutions to enhance. our players’ experience,” said Little League President and CEO Stephen D. Kiner. “On behalf of all of us at Little League International and the millions of children and volunteers we serve, we look forward to the continuation of this relationship and the exciting opportunities it will bring to our Little League communities.”

Since 1992, Musco has provided quality lighting systems guaranteed to meet Little League standards for local league fields while reducing energy use and maintenance issues. Also serving as Little League’s lighting consultant on safety and standards, Musco provides local leagues with the technical support they need to make sports lighting projects cost-effective and long-lasting successes. To help leagues meet this challenge, Musco offers local league volunteers educational resources such as a free Project Planning Guide, comprehensive information to help start planning a lighting project, and co-sponsors Little League’s A Safety Awareness Program (ASAP). :

In addition to their local league support, Musko has provided lighting solutions for all five US Region complexes used for Little League Baseball and Softball Region tournaments each summer, and also assisted with lighting solutions for the Little League Softball World Series in Greenville, N.C. Carolina. , moving there in 2020. Heading into the 2022 Little League Baseball World Series, Musco also worked with the Little League to restore the stadium lighting to the iconic Howard J. standards, minimizing glare. Also, BallTracker® fixtures illuminate the underside of the air baseball to help players follow its path with better contrast against the dark sky.
