Quarterback DJ Uiagalelei is transferring from Clemson to Oregon State, he announced on social media.

Uyagalelei entered the transfer portal two weeks ago after two seasons on the rise as Clemson’s starter. He has two years of eligibility left.

“Next stop … Corvallis,” he tweeted Saturday, along with a picture of himself in a Beavers uniform.

No. 17 Oregon State (10-3) used a two-quarterback system in its 30-3 win over Florida on Dec. 17 in the Las Vegas Bowl. Starter Ben Gulbranson was initially told Tristan Gebbia would get at least two series. Gulbranson didn’t let the decision faze him, completing 12 of 19 passes for 165 yards and a touchdown. He was named MVP of the game.

Uyagalelei, meanwhile, was benched after Clemson’s 39-10 win over North Carolina on Dec. 3, and coach Dabo Swinney announced freshman Cade Klubnick would start for the 10th-ranked Tigers in the Orange Bowl. against No. 6 Tennessee on Friday.
