- LOUIS, Mo., January 15, 2023 – The St. Louis Cardinals today announced 17 free agents representing the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Mexico, Ecuador, Cuba and the Bahamas from the first day of Major League Baseball’s 2023 international signing period. Nine pitchers, five outfielders. Among the signees were two shortstops and a catcher.
All players are signed through the 2023 minor league season and are subject to MLB approval. The full list of Cardinals international player signings is below.
