At running back, Allen appeared to connect with Dolphins linebacker Christian Wilkins. The two pushed back and forth as Bills offensive lineman Matt Morse came to defend his quarterback. Buffalo players began giving Wilkins the business and penalty flags were thrown.
Fortunately for both teams, no one was sent off. Wilkins and Morse were penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct for the incident. The penalties were called, and Miami took over at the Bills’ 48-yard line.

Miami trailed 17-3 at the time. Miami’s Jason Sanders made another field goal late in the Dolphins’ drive to make it 17-6.
The Dolphins were forced to start third-string quarterback Skylar Thompson because Tua Tagovailoa did not clear concussion protocol to play. Teddy Bridgewater was also injured and not 100%.
