The college football bowl games are upon us as the 2022 postseason kicks off with an intense slate of matchups that will mark a celebration of an impactful year in sports. The action kicked off on Friday, December 16th and will continue through the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday, January 9th as we crown the national title winner for the 2022 season.

Bowl Season action really picked up on Saturday with a six-game sweep after the postseason kicked off Friday with a two-game schedule. Saturday’s action had a little bit of everything, from securing Oregon State’s third 10-win season in program history in dominant fashion over an SEC opponent to a record-setting performance by the son of an NFL legend who continues to make his own mark. the game. There was also the Celebration Bowl, where Jackson State’s bid for a perfect season was spoiled in Deion Sanders’ final game before he left for the Colorado program.

Sunday is bowl weekend with the NFL taking center stage, but the postseason returns on Monday when Marshall hosts UConn in the Potato Bowl.
