Take a behind-the-scenes look at the making in a recent release “Season 72”, Hatfield announced “Lux Aeterna”:”“Lux Aeterna” happy, kind of a fast and happy song, I’d say it really points to the New Wave Of British [Heavy] Metal stuff, some 80’s era riff. It’s just fun and gets me moving. It was fun making the video, recording a fun song that comes out really easy, it was a real easy song to write and perform, like I said, it was very early ’80s for us.”

What about inspiration? “Season 72” album name Hatfield said:“72 Seasons” came out of a book I was reading about childhood, mostly, and sorting through childhood as an adult. And the 72 season is basically the first 18 years of your life. How do you evolve and grow and mature and develop your own ideas and identity after the first 72 seasons? Some things are harder than others. some things you can’t unsee and they stay with you for the rest of your life and other things you can rewind the tape and create a new tape in your life. . So that’s the real interesting part for me, is how you’re able to handle those situations as an adult and mature.”

He continued: is in that darkness… No darkness, there is no light and being able to focus a little more on the light of life instead of everyone else… how it used to be and how awful… There are so many good things happening in life instead of focusing on that. , and it helps balance my life. And it doesn’t make any sense. everyone has a sense of hope or light in their lives, and obviously music is mine. And the song specifically talks about the gathering of people at the concert and [being] able to see the joy and life and love that comes from music and family and kinship and just a sense of excitement.”
