Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival returns July 14-16 and will feature an all-star rock and metal lineup led by headliners SLIPKNOT:, PANTHER and: LIMP BIZKITplus more than 65 tattoo artists and haunted attractions, all held at the historic Ohio State Reformatory (made famous by the movie “The Shawshank Redemption”), located in Mansfield, Ohio.
In addition to the headliners, performances will be offered throughout the three-day weekend MEGADETH, VOLBEAT:, LAMB OF GOD, BUSH, AT THIS MOMENT, HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS, FLYLEAF: with Lacey Sturm, IN STILL WHITE, CHARCOAL and much more. SiriusXMof Jose “Metal Ambassador” Mangin will return as the Varden Festival to run the weekend.
The event continues an ongoing partnership with America’s largest independent festival producer Danny Wimmer presents and creators Ink production, who together produce an event like no other. Tickets for both 2021 and 2022 sold out within weeks of the festival’s announcements, leading to record crowds of more than 75,000 each year. Fans are encouraged to shop early for 2023 to secure their spot.

In addition to enjoying a diverse musical lineup, fans will be able to attend an on-site tattoo convention and book appointments with over 65 artists. The nightly tattoo contests will be conducted by a musician and “Big Brother” alum Gencity and the judges will be the tattoo artists Caleb Neff, Brian Adamson and: Matt Helton. Free tours of the famous Ohio State Reformatory will be offered all weekend. There will also be delicious food on site, a wide selection of drinks, camping and the return of the award-winning Haunted House attraction, Blood Prison, for additional purchase.
Single Day, Weekend General Admission and VIP Passes Ink production on sale now starting at under $10. Weekend and one-day VIP tickets are available in extremely limited quantities. Many fans bought early during the festival’s early bird pre-sale, so festival-goers are encouraged to buy now to guarantee availability. A limited number of specially priced passes for military personnel are now on sale via GovX:.
Weekend camping packages are available for both cars and tents. General Weekend Tent Camping includes 500 square feet of space for two people, with breakfast, lunch and drinks available for purchase, special shuttles to and from the festival, re-entry to the campsite shuttles during the festival, access to the Camping Hydration Station and access to showers and toilets. General Weekend RV Camping includes the same amenities as tent camping. RV sites with hookups for electricity and water are also available for purchase. All campers from Thursday through Monday will have exclusive access to the Thursday night camp party. Admission to the festival is not included in Weekend Camping packages and must be purchased separately.
