Christina Ricci returns as cheerful sociopath former equipment manager/current nurse Misty Quigley in the upcoming film’s teaser trailer. Yellow jackets season 2: The video is only a minute long and doesn’t reveal much about the actual plot of the new season of the critically-acclaimed show. Still, it’s clear that Christina Ricci’s character (played by teenage Sammy Hanratty) isn’t having a good time. On the other hand, it’s about a bunch of teenage football players who might (definitely) turn to cannibals after a horrific plane crash, so it’s probably not a good time for anyone, not even the new Harley Quinn.
the first moments of Yellow jackets Season 2 finds Juliet Lewis’ character Natalie Scatorcio in a strange, shadowy room being haunted by a shadowy woman (who is most likely Obi-Wan KenobiI’m Simone Kessel, playing the grown-up version of crash survivor Lottie Matthews. We then move to a frozen, icy door in the Canadian wilderness and flashes of the characters’ faces from the first season. And finally, we get to see Christina Ricci’s distinctly curly, blonde hairdo and huge glasses.

The show currently holds a rare 100% Critical Rating on Rotten Tomatoes, officially making it one of the best shows on television. . It’s already been renewed by the network for a third season ahead of its second premiere, because Showtime probably knows a good thing when it sees it.
The show was co-created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson and is particularly popular for its cast of a number of actresses best known for their 1990s film roles, including Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis and Melanie Lynskey (who will be joined by ’90s friends : icon Lauren Ambrose for season two). The show’s actual plot is split into two timelines, one set during the plane crash and the months following in the desert in 1996, and the other in the present day after the survivors return to civilization.
Yellow jackets became a hit for its complex narratives and parallel plots, as well as its undeniable fascination with the idea of a group of Championship footballers seemingly resorting to cannibalism and wild cuts during their ordeal. Juliette Lewis and Christina Ricci’s dynamic as an ex-addict and an exciting but troubled nurse was cited as one of the best parts of the show, so hopefully we’ll be seeing more of them together.
However, in Yellow jackets The Season 2 teaser revealed that we will now be entering a harsh Canadian winter and things are likely to get very bad as the team finds their food stores dwindling. These days, a strange cult seems to have hijacked Juliet Lewis’ character and Christina Ricci is teaming up with Elijah Wood, so we can’t wait to see what happens next.
