America’s premier stand-up comedy Marc Maron returns to share his happy mood. This February, he’s pushing HBO into obscurity
with a new one-hour comedy, From dim to dark, designed to help you laugh through the pain of living as a human. If the trailer for the special is to be believed, Maron does just that.

Touching on topics such as the death of his girlfriend Lynn Shelton, the murder of his feline friends, and whether or not he should have had a special performance, Maro fearlessly approaches life from the most pessimistic place possible. “I don’t think anything is ever going to be good again,” Maron says at the start of the trailer, in case you need an example of where he’s coming from this time.

None of this should come as too much of a shock to anyone familiar with Maron’s comedy. In fact, that’s what The Fuck-aterians were hoping for. His joke about how his girlfriend’s death was the worst thing that ever happened to him, and probably the worst thing that ever happened to him, should be cold comfort to those who think Maron is a step lost

From dim to dark is Maron’s seventh comedy special. His last End Times Entertainmentsomehow triggered Days before the COVID-19 pandemic, America actually ended the times, Special release with Netflix on March 10, 2020. Besides that Later, Netflix has released some of Maron’s latest specials. Surprisingly, this will be Maron’s first comedy special for the Home Box Office.

And of course, Maron is still running his podcast, WTF with Marc Maron?, which recently released its 1403rd episode. More recently, Maron has also returned to acting, appearing in a surprise Oscar contender, To Leslie. He also apparently voiced the role of Lex Luthor DC League of Super-Pets.
