JOY-ANNA Duggar has shared her baby boy’s name, which clearly disrespects father Jim Bob.
The Counting On alum took to YouTube and Instagram on Dec. 25 with a new vlog she titled “A Christmas Q&A.”

One of the fan questions that Joy-Anna answered asked: “What ideas are there for this kid?”
Joy-Anna, who is pregnant with her third child, happily responded, although she admitted at first that she hadn’t researched baby names yet.
“Just to let you know, we’re definitely using James as a first name, or as a middle name. I think it will probably be used as a middle name,” Joy-Anna said.
“Austin’s grandfather passed away a few years ago and he told him before he died that our next son was going to be ‘James’. He agreed for us to do it,” she added, referring to her husband, Austin Forsyth.

“We’re going to mix James in there somewhere,” Joy-Anna explained. “His name was Edwin James Forsyth, and it was about using his name and honoring him in that way.”
After the partial reveal of Joy-Anna’s baby name, fans immediately picked up on the fact that despite using the name James, it wasn’t in honor of father Jim Bob.
“I love James’ unintentional tone that is 100% Austin’s grandpa and not Jimbob at all,” said one fan.
“And that she totally has a brother named James,” another added.

One of the users noted: “The only downside is that Jim Bob can easily slip himself in and say it’s for Austin’s grandpa and Joe’s dad.”
MOTHER’S ADVICE
In the same Q&A video, Joy-Anna opened up about her mom Michelle’s parenting choices.
One fan asked, “What’s your best advice for moms?”
Joy-Anna countered that she didn’t think she could give that kind of advice because she’s “still in the middle of it and figuring it out.”
“Patience has been the hardest thing for me, and I think maybe it’s because my mom… I’ve literally never seen my mom get sad. And I’m like angry, like yelling, angry, and at the same time I’m like, “Oh, this is going to be great, like being a parent.”
The former reality star gave an emotional explanation, saying she realized her mother had made a “choice” not to be angry “by the minute.”
“It makes me so grateful for the way she raised us kids, and in every way,” she continued. “All that aside, patience has been my hardest thing and I’m completely teary-eyed right now.”
The star admitted that patience has been her “hardest thing” with children Gideon, four, and Evelyn, two.
“[…] Just realizing, you know, it’s okay if they mess up as long as I can help them clean it up and teach them responsibility or whatever,” she said.
RELATED SNACKS
Fans have once again taken Joy-Anna to task for an Instagram post she shared about a meal she made for the family.
Earlier this week, the 25-year-old shared her cooking additions to the Forsyth family celebration.
He displayed a huge spread of salami slices, popcorn, crackers, goldfish, cookies, brownies, oranges, strawberries, cheese, grapes, and more in a “Before” photo.
In the “after” photo, the table appeared to be cleared of snacks and her baking pans were mostly full.
Her followers were unimpressed, calling her range of snacks a “Walmart version of a charcuterie board”.

One fan was rude in their statement.
Another added: “People really slaughtered real flour boards, and this absolutely proves it.”
