Lucasfilm presented The Mandalorian third trailer for the season, as well as introducing several previously unknown directors for upcoming episodes, during Monday night’s NFL playoff game.
Directors this season The Mandalorian includes returning helmer Rick Famuywa, Black Panther cameraman Rachel Morrison, Minar film director Lee Isaac Chung, The Mandalorian actor Carl Weathers Spider-Man. Into the Spider-VersePeter Ramsey and back Mando directed by Bryce Dallas Howard.
Pedro Pascal stars as the protagonist, roaming the galaxy with Grogu (AKA Baby Yoda). He stars alongside Katey Sackhoff, Weathers, Amy Sedaris, Emily Swallow and Giancarlo Esposito. According to the logline, “The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.”
Jon Favreau once again serves as showrunner, along with executive producer Dave Filoni, Famuyua, Lucasfilm chief Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist and Kerry Beck are co-producers.
The Mandalorian launched with Disney+ in November 2019 and quickly became its flagship series. The second season was released in late 2020 and has spawned numerous spinoffs, including last year’s The Boba Fett Bookand the upcoming Rosario Dawson-led series Ahsoka:
