This week, Marvel’s Midnight Suns players will get a chance to see Deadpool added to the game’s roster. The Merc with a Mouth has been generating a lot of buzz over the past month, and Firaxis and 2K Games are continuing to do just that with the release of a new character spotlight trailer. While last week’s video was pretty light on actual details, the spotlight on these characters puts a lot of emphasis on the DLC’s gameplay. At over six minutes long, the video is quite informative and may just have an impact on all the fans who have yet to make the season pass.

You can find the new video embedded below.

In the showcase, viewers can view Deadpool’s outfit, which consists of 10 cards, nine of which change if the character’s en fuego meter is full. The Firaxis team also goes into detail about which of the existing characters in the game will work best alongside Deadpool and how to get the most out of the character. It’s an interesting glimpse into how Deadpool will play, and should help players figure out their strategy ahead of the character’s release.

As previously announced, Deadpool will be available on January 26. Four DLC characters have been announced for the game so far, with Wade Wilson being the first out of the gate. Players can also expect to see the additions of Storm, Venom, and Morbius in the coming months, though no specific release dates have been revealed for the rest of the characters yet. In the video, narrator Christopher Odd revealed that fans can expect similar character flashbacks for these DLC characters. Until then, fans will just have to keep busy with the new Deadpool DLC content.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions are also in the works. Readers can check out our previous coverage of the game right here.
