Seven deadly sins. Four Knights of the Apocalypse The anime has released the first teaser trailer as well as a 2023 premiere date. Telecom Animation Film animated the adaptation, with Sho Komura voicing the lead character Percival. This is the voice actor’s first lead role.

Four Knights of the Apocalypse Nakaba is the sequel to the hugely popular Suzuki Seven deadly sins series. The manga began serialization in 2021, shortly after the end of the original series. In total, 10 volumes have been published so far. An anime has been announced for May 2022. Kodansha publishes the manga in English and describes the plot as:

Seven deadly sins. In the Four Knights of the Apocalypse world, Percival has always lived with his grandfather on an idyllic, distant God’s Finger. And while Percival loves the simple life, he longs for adventure. That is, until adventure knocks on her door, tearing away everything she’s ever known and leaving her alone in the world. Now Percival has no choice but to venture out into the world and see what it holds… after all, it is his destiny.

The original Seven deadly sins The manga also has an anime adaptation with 4 seasons and 2 movies. The first 2 seasons and Prisoners of Heaven the film was produced by A-1 Pictures. Studio DEEN took over seasons 3 and 4 and the final movie Cursed by the light served as an anime-only sequel. The TV anime was a Netflix exclusive worldwide, while the films had theatrical releases in Japan. All seasons and both movies, as well as the special OVA series, are now available on Netflix.

Original CGI film titled The seven deadly sins. The Evil of Edinburgh is also in development and will premiere later this year.
