Amid ongoing turmoil at DC Studios, Warner Bros. One of the rumors circulating about Discovery is that Dwayne Johnson, who starred in the recently released movie. Black Adamhad not followed both Warner Bros. and The Black Adam social media accounts. According to the star, however, this is not the case.
In a tweet sent out Friday night, Johnson responded to the news. Johnson called the story “100% not true” and said he never followed any Instagram accounts at all. In another response after the author who shared the news apologized, Johnson said there were no hard feelings and that social media currently “crazy toxic time and culture“.

Stories about Johnson and his past Black Adam continue to swirl as fans wonder what the future holds for the franchise. After a slightly disappointing showing at the box office, it was rumored that Johnson had been denied an upcoming appearance. Shazam! Wrath of the Gods.
Other reports then surfaced suggesting that Warner Bros. believed Johnson and his team had given the studio misleading reports about whether or not the film was successful.
Fans continue to wonder what the future holds for DC Studios as a whole. James Gunn recently announced that he was going to write his own Superman in the film, and that Henry Cavill will no longer play the character. Gunn did not address what the future holds for the projects Black Adam or other confirmed DCU franchises, however, so fans will have to wait for more information.
