Dolly Parton has been rumored to be a secret producer for years Buffy the Vampire Slayer A TV series that became a huge genre hit in the late 90s and early 2000s. Well, it’s not a mystery anymore. When appearing The Tonight Show, Buffy Star Sarah Michelle Gellar confirmed to Jimmy Fallon that the iconic singer played a silent role in the show’s success. Not only that, but Parton was a fan of the vampire slaying series and its star, which Gellar wasn’t ready for at the time.

“Little known fact, the legend Dolly Parton was a producer,” Gellar said The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “And you know, we’ve never seen him. We used to get Christmas gifts at first that would have our name on them and I would think, “She doesn’t know who I am.” And then one day someone asked him about it and he complimented the show and my performance. And I was like, “Oh, I can die now.” Dolly Parton knows who I am and thinks I’m good.’ His partner was Sandy Gallin and they produced Buffy“.
Of course producing shows like this Buffy just the kind person Dolly Parton likes to be. A notable case. the iconic singer helped raise money to develop a vaccine against the coronavirus and was heralded as a saint when it was revealed that she had championed the Moderna vaccine that, along with Pfizer, helped turn the tide of the epidemic. Is there anything Dolly can’t do? We’d probably believe it if someone said he could levitate.
